Things to Do Around San Antonio

San Antonio is home to The Alamo, a legendary Texas-History museum. It is located in the downtown area and is within walking distance of the beautiful River Walk. La Villita Historic Arts Village is a beautifully restored district connected to the River Walk. You can visit historical exhibits, art galleries, craft shops, Mexican jewelry shops, and lots of clothing stores.  

Another shopping hot-spot is Market Square – El Mercado. This vibrant Mexican market is the largest one that exists outside of Mexico. With over 100 specialty shops, you can find anything from food to souvenirs and anything in between. 

Finally, be sure to check out The Alley on Bitters, located north of town, and close to the airport.  This district offers a collection of specialty stores, handcrafted furniture, and galleries displaying local artistry.
